Animals in our life time love program have a forever home at our sanctuary. They form a part of our Lennon’s Legacy forever family.

Bear ~ Date of Birth ~ 12/14/11 ~ Bear is our first born fur baby. A Border collie, Labrador retriever and German Shepherd cross who has the biggest heart. He has welcomed hundreds of kitties into our home with open paws. He has loved and nurtured, tolerated and corrected. Bear loves humans as much as he loves his kitty friends. Bear is head of food tasting here at the sanctuary.

Max ~ Date of Birth ~ 07/10/14 ~ Max came to us when he was just 6 weeks old and just 4 pounds. His previous family had accidentally stepped on him which had left him with a broken leg. Max became our only puppy foster fail. Max is head of security at the sanctuary, his role is to keep everyone else in check.

Oscar ~ Date of Birth ~ 04/29/12 ~ Oscar had a turbulent first year of life. He was born in foster care through a local humane society, he was adopted out, then picked up as a stray, adopted out again and then surrendered again due to chronic diarrhea. At that time his name was Squirt…..not the best name for a cat with diarrhea. Oscar joined our family in the summer of 2013. He receives medication and a special diet for his tummy issues. Oscar’s favorite food is cheese…..not that he is allowed to eat it. He is a nurturing kitty who loves to play with everyone, Feline or K9. He loved to cuddle with Dexter before Dex left this earthly world. Oscar is Head of cuddles here at the sanctuary…..or Cwtches as they say in Welsh.

Tippers ~ Date of Birth ~ 06/18/15 ~Tippy was found as a stray at the age of 10 weeks. He has a condition called Cerebellar hypoplasia which affects his motor functions and balance. CH is acquired at birth and does not get worse with age. Tippy is more tippy than wobbly. His rear end tips over when he walks. Tippy can not climb or jump and has difficulty pooping standing up. He suffers from IBD and thankfully is not too opposed to taking regular baths. Tippy receives on going medication and a special diet for his IBD. Tippy communicates through expression rather than voice. He runs like a rabbit. He is a tiny 7 pound boy. He loves to drink water and always chews it well. Tippy is Chief water taster here at the sanctuary.

Coraline Lovecat ~ Date of Birth ~ 07/01/16 ~ Coraline Lovecat was found as a stray. Her eyes had not formed properly at birth which resulted in her needing eye enucleations for both eyes. Even though Coraline does not have eyes she lives life to the fullest. Her favorite pastime is cat burglary….she loves to collect socks, bikinis, makeup, shells and crystals. Fun facts ~ Coraline has a book written about her called “Coraline and the Cactus.” It is an inspurrational story about a kitty who sees with her heart and is accepting of everyone. Coraline is head of collections here at the sanctuary.

Poppy ~ Date of Birth ~ 05/10/18 ~ Poppy was rescued at just four weeks old, she had a badly infected eye. We tried for many weeks to save her eye but it ultimately resulted in her needing an eye enucleation. Poppy has also struggled with chronic ear infections in the past. Fun facts ~ Poppy is a cuddly girl who loves her humans very much. Her favorite seat is on Cat Dads feet. Poppy is responsible for foot comfort here at the sanctuary.

Pooh Bear ~ Date of Birth ~ 05/01/18 ~ Pooh Bear was rescued from a high kill shelter. He had been picked up as a stray at 5 weeks old and spent many weeks in a tiny cage in sub standard conditions. For many weeks Pooh Bear walked with bow legs due to lack of mobility in his former weeks. In his first 6 weeks of freedom he put on 2 pounds in weight and it seems like he didn’t stop growing …..he is now huge! His nickname is Big Pooh and we are guessing that he is a Mainecoon mix. He is a cuddly boy who is slowly learning to trust. Pooh Bear currently has some tummy issues and requires a special diet. We made a promise to Pooh Bear that his days in a cage were in the past. Pooh Bear loves his adoptive sister, Lula, they go everywhere together. He loves wet food and will scream at the top of his meow until he gets it. Pooh Bear is in charge of wet food distributions here at the sanctuary.

Mateo ~ Date of Birth ~ 06/08/13 ~ Mateo and his 3 siblings were picked up as strays at four weeks old; Nigel and Mateo never left us. Mateo was the runt of the litter but soon turned out to be the chunk of the litter. Mateo has had some struggles with bladder infections in the past, he now requires a life long special diet and supplements. Mateo loves to eat peas. Mateo is head of shoe fitting here at the sanctuary.

Nigel ~ Date of Birth ~ 06/08/13 ~ Nigel and his 3 siblings were picked up as strays at four weeks old; Nigel and Mateo never left us. Nigel is our bedtime cat who sleeps on our pillows. Nigel loves to sing and has his own version of ‘Hello!’ Given the opportunity Nigel would love to be a hair stylist….cutting is his forte. Nigel is responsible for personal grooming here at the sanctuary.

Purdy~Alice ~ Date of Birth ~ 05/09/17 ~ Purdy-Alice was taken from her Mum and surrendered with her two sisters at just four weeks old. PA is susceptible to upper respiratory infections and eye issues. We try to keep her healthy with lysine supplements, eye meds and close monitoring. PA loves to snuggle around her Mumma’s neck and suck on her hair. Purdy-Alice is head of drama here at the sanctuary.

Tia and Lula ~ Date of Birth ~ 09/25/18 ~ Tia and Lula were just five weeks old when they were rescued from a barn in October 2018. Their Mumma had abandoned them and the farmer was concerned that they would not survive the upcoming cold weather. They are cuddly little girls who love to be around others. Tia is an avid fan of rock climbing. Lula has ambition to become a successful Opera singer. Tia and Lula are responsible for love distribution here at the sanctuary.

Belle ~ Date of Birth ~ 10/06/18 ~ Belle was unfortunately given as a gift to young children in Saudi Arabia. Sadly, she was injured during play which resulted in her becoming paralyzed. The family didn’t want to keep a broken kitten so she was passed onto a relative. The father of that relative refused to keep her and threatened to either put her on the streets or put her to sleep. Thankfully an amazing woman and her rescue team stepped in to help her. She was very neglected when the rescue took her in but with medical attention and lots of TLC she is now thriving. She is the sweetest little girl and we are blessedp to have her here with us. Belle is a Persian Doll face who loves to sit on laps and thankfully, loves to be brushed. Belle is Head of fashion here at the sanctuary.

Clara ~ Date of Birth ~ 03/08/19 ~ Clara was born with congenital abnormalities which give her some rear end neurological challenges. She has a stubby tail, she walks with a limp and hops like a bunny. She has some bathroom issues and needs to be monitored closely. Her official diagnosis is sacrocaudal dysgenesis which means malformation of the sacrocaudal vertebrae. Clara loves to hide in random places. Clara is responsible for acrobatics here at the sanctuary.

Eddie and Alfie ~ Date of Birth ~ 06/14/19 ~ Eddie and Alfie are our landscaping crew. They are Pygmy goats rescued from a farm when they were 4 months old. They are goats who think they are dogs! Their favorite food is the leaves from apple trees. Eddie and Alfie are responsible for landscaping here at the sanctuary.

Jude ~ Date of Birth 12/27/19 ~ Jude was rescued in Georgia at just 6 weeks old. His eyes were ruptured, he was very malnourished, he had a spinal curvature and a box staple in his tummy. Once his health was stabilised his eyes were surgically removed. Jude came through some of the same rescue teams that had previously rescued our precious Dexter. On the day of Jude’s rescue we were contacted and asked if we would be this boys forever home. Jude finally arrived with us on March 15th, 2020. In his short life, this boy has been through so much. In addition to everything present when he was rescued he has also dealt with severely bowed legs, broken teeth, allergies, anxiety, muscle sprains and bladder and bone infections. Despite his challenges, Jude is a smart, happy boy who loves his humans very much. Jude loves fruits and veggies; strawberries are his favourite. Jude is head of healthy eating here at the sanctuary.

Jules ~ Date of Birth 20/08/20 ~ Jules was born with Manx syndrome, he was a sibling to Penny Lane and Sgt. Pepper, who sadly left this world far too soon. Jules loves to spend time with Tippers and is often found snuggling next to him. Jules is head of cuddles here at the sanctuary.

Prudence, Lizzy and Lucy ~ Date of Birth 06/14/20 ~ These girls just wanna have fun! They were found in the woods with their other two siblings by some young girls. They were pretty sick when they were found but thankfully with love and care they pulled through. All three girls have deformities of their rear legs. Prudence only has one affected leg; Lizzy and Lucy have two. They have adapted so well and do an amazing job of navigating the world. The girls are head of partying here at the sanctuary.

Ellie (Eleanor) ~ Date of Birth 06/14/20 ~ Ellie was found on a construction site with a severe head tilt and was pretty ill at the time of rescue. She had a cuterebra in her neck. Once it was removed her head tilt slowly disappeared. She was very ill for a number of weeks but she has a fighting spirit and pulled through. Ellie is head of motivation here at the sanctuary.

Ollie ~ Date of Birth 03/30/20 ~ Ollie was advertised for free on Craigslist. For safety reasons, we response to the advert and gave him a home. Ollie is a friendly little guy who isn’t a fan of change. He loves to play and adores Sunny. 

Sadie ~ Date of Birth 07/21/20 ~ Sadie was also born with deformities of her rear legs. She was born to a great family who wanted her to be cared for by someone experienced with special needs fur babies. Sadie heads up the wrestling team here at the sanctuary.

Rigby ~ Rigby turned up at my friends home as a stray. Sadly, she could not keep him because her dog was not a fan of cats. Rigby is super affection and has his own very unique voice. Rigby is head of the choir here at the sanctuary.

Sunny, Smokey and Angel ~ Sunny and Smokey were former fosters of ours and they were later adopted by our daughter. Angel was also fostered by my daughter and later adopted. Sadly, our daughter couldn’t not keep them after the birth of her son. The cats were not a fan of the new baby so they came to live with Grandma and Grandpa. Sunny is head of daycare, Smokey is head of the boxing team and Angel has a passion for reorganising.
